Al-Mughayyir Under Israeli Military Offensive for Second Consecutive Day

Al-mughayyir: The village of Al-Mughayyir, located northeast of Ramallah, continues to face a significant Israeli military offensive that began on Saturday afternoon, as per local sources.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Marzouq Abu Naim, the deputy head of the Al-Mughayyir Village Council, reported that the ongoing incursion has involved an assault on a condolence gathering for the recently killed child, Mohammed Al-Nassan. Additionally, several homes have been raided, and a house belonging to local Palestinian citizen Hamza Abu Alia was seized and converted into a military post after his family was evacuated under severe weather conditions.

Abu Naim also highlighted the assault on Nader Abu Alia, a child with special needs, who was beaten by Israeli forces and coerced to walk despite his physical disability. Moreover, the continued military presence and activities have led to the suspension of school classes within the village.

The village of Al-Mughayyir, along with other areas east of Ramallah, has been subjected to numerous attacks by Israeli forces and settlers. The recent offensive follows the killing of 14-year-old Mohammed Al-Nassan by Israeli soldiers two days ago.
