Al-Hakim: The development road is an important project and the necessity of respecting Iraq’s sovereignty

The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar Al-Hakim, confirmed that the development road is an important project and creates many opportunities for Iraqis, stressing the need for full respect for Iraq's sovereignty. The State Forces Alliance said in a statement: 'Al-Hakim met today with the new Turkish ambassador to Iraq, Anil Bora Inan, and wished him success in his work in Iraq.' Al-Hakim explained, 'Iraq and Turkey are neighbors with a great cultural heritage, which confirms the importance of integration between them and investing in President Erdogan's recent visit to Iraq to find solutions to the water crisis,' expressing 'Iraq's desire to increase water releases due to its urgent need for water.' Regarding the development road, Al-Hakim said that it is 'an important project that creates many opportunities for Iraqis along the line, and there is clear seriousness from the Iraqi government in achieving it,' stressing 'confronting the security challenges facing our two countries with the nece ssity of full respect for Iraq's sovereignty over its lands, and that there be common security coordination between the two sides." The head of the State Forces Alliance affirmed that 'the war on Gaza is an unjust war and a crime of genocide,' calling on 'the international community to shoulder its responsibilities regarding the ongoing violation of international sanctities, laws and norms.
