The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, met this evening with a leadership delegation from the Badr Organization headed by Muhammad Naji (Abu Jassim al-Askari). A statement by al-Hakim's office stated that during the meeting, developments in the political scene in Iraq and the region, the common history and the pivotal stations in it were discussed. Al-Hakim called for unity of ranks, overcoming differences in points of view and working to enhance the stability achieved at the political, social and security levels, renewing the call to support the government in implementing its service and development program, and to resolve national entitlements, especially the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives and the laws that are directly related to the lives of citizens.
