The Head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar Al-Hakim, affirmed that "Iraq plays a pivotal role in bringing the views of the parties closer together."
A statement by his media office said that Al-Hakim received Kuwaiti Ambassador Tariq Abdullah Al-Faraj at his office in Baghdad and discussed with him "developments in the political scene in Iraq and the region and ways to strengthen relations to serve the interests of the two countries."
Al-Hakim renewed "emphasis on the importance of dialogue to enhance stability in the region and sustain it so that its people can enjoy the bounties of their country, indicating that Iraq plays a pivotal role in bringing the views of the parties closer together."
