Al-Amiri And The Turkish FM Discuss The Issue Of Water And National Sovereignty
The Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi Al-Amiri, discussed with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan water file and national sovereignty.
The two sides discussed, according to the statement of the Badr Organization’s media office, developments in the regional and international situation, and discussed bilateral and economic relations and the importance of strengthening them in accordance with the interests of the two countries.
The two sides also discussed the water file, stressing the need to settle the crisis and develop effective solutions for Iraq to obtain its water shares and eliminate the drought crisis.
The two parties stressed the importance of respecting the national sovereignty of the two countries, preventing any violations or aggressions, and the need to give priority to the language of dialogue and cooperation to solve any problems, and to create a safe and stable environment on the borders between the two countries.
Al-Amiri stressed the need for the withdrawal of Turkish forces from Iraqi lands, indicating that Iraq does not allow the presence of any armed groups on its lands in accordance with the Iraqi constitution, and it also rejects any aggression against neighboring countries that stems from its lands.
