The Baghdad Operations Command announced the arrest of two accused of indiscriminate shooting, after a clash with them, east of the capital, Baghdad. The command stated in a statement: 'Federal police forces arrested two defendants who were riding a tik-tok bike and opened fire randomly near Al-Fadhiliya Dam, east of the capital,' noting that: 'While the patrol was heading and pursuing them 'They opened fire towards the patrol vehicle.' He added: 'They were surrounded and arrested red-handed, and the weapon (a rifle) in their possession was seized and they were handed over with the seized items to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures against them.'
