Abyan governor denounces crime of torturing citizen Mohammed Mahdi to death

The governor of Abyan, Saleh Al-Junaidi, denounced, in the strongest terms, the heinous crime committed by the militias of the Transitional Council of the Emirates against the citizen, Mohammed Hassan Abdo Mahdi Hanash, by kidnapping and torturing him to death.

The governor, Al-Junaidi, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that these criminal elements kidnapped the citizen Hanash while he was passing through one of the Emirati militia points in Mudiya and deposited him in one of its secret prisons to commit a brutal crime of torture against him that led to his death.

He held the occupation authorities and the militias loyal to the countries of invasion and occupation fully responsible for that crime, which shook the feelings of the Yemenis and revealed the true face of the occupation and its tools of extremist racist militias that are blackmailing passers-by, stealing their money by coercion, and abusing them in brutal ways and means.

He pointed out that this crime, which was committed against an elderly man who was returning from Ibb province after spending the Eid al-Adha holiday to his home in Shabwa province, comes within a series of crimes and violations committed by the occupation militias within the scope of Abyan province.

The governor, Al-Junaidi, called on all the tribes of Abyan to take serious action to stop these crimes that are being committed in their areas by a militia alien to the province of Abyan.

He also called on the free people of the province to denounce this crime, which affected the citizen Hanash, and all the crimes that were committed and are being committed by those criminal militias against passers-by on the roads linking Abyan province with other governorates, and to put pressure on the occupation militias to hand over the murderers and criminals.

He stressed that this crime and other crimes and violations committed against innocent people by the militias affiliated with the Emirates will not be subject to statute of limitations, and the perpetrators will be punished sooner or later.

The governor, Al-Junaidi, offered the family and relatives of the martyr Hanash his sincere condolences and sympathy for this painful and intrusive event to society in the southern provinces, which reflects the culture of hatred that the UAE has nurtured among its militias with the aim of destroying the social fabric and sowing hatred among Yemenis.
