A number of suspects in various cases arrested east of the capital, Baghdad

Baghdad Operations Command forces arrested a number of suspects in various cases in the capital, Baghdad. The Command stated in a statement: "The security forces, represented by the (Fifth) Federal Police Division, carried out a number of security practices and patrols within the area of responsibility east of Baghdad, which resulted in the arrest of 15 suspects, including one accused of smuggling "oil derivatives" and confiscating the vehicle he was driving, and others involved in quarrels and violators of the terms and conditions of the Residence and Nationality Department, in addition to seizing a number of unlicensed weapons and ammunition, within the areas of (Al-Shaab/Al-Bustan neighborhood, Ur neighborhood, Tariq neighborhood, Al-Talabiya) next to Al-Rusafa, where the suspects and the seized materials were handed over to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures against them."
