A delegation from the Ministry of Health inspected Safwan border crossing today, Saturday, to see the health services provided by the health center at the crossing to visitors of Arbaeen of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and those coming from the Gulf countries through the crossing. The Director of the Public Health Department in the Basra Health Department, Dr. Tahseen Sadiq Al-Nazzal, said, "A ministerial delegation headed by the Director General of the Health Department in the Ministry, Dr. Riyadh Al-Halfi, went to Basra to see the reality of the health centers that provide their services to visitors through the crossing from the State of Kuwait to the holy Karbala to perform the Arbaeen visit. He added that "we discussed with the Assistant Director of the crossing the required health procedures provided at the health center." Pointing out that "the ministerial plan for the Arbaeen visit has been modified by the Basra Health Department." He explained, "Medical equipment and medicines, as well as ambul ances, have been provided at the center, in addition to the deployment of a number of ambulances on the walking path to provide the best services to visitors of Abi Abdullah Al-Hussein, peace be upon him.
