A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency /NINA/: 'Joint security forces, supported by army aviation, began an incursion operation deep into Sandej area within Hamrin Basin, northeast of Baquba, to comb the area and destroy any secret hideouts of ISIS cells.' He added: "The operation comes within specific objectives to end any activity of ISIS terrorist cells," noting: "Sandej is a hiding area for some ISIS cells because of the complex geographical terrain there.
