A fire that broke out in the early hours of Saturday morning in the Ibrahimiya area of the Hashimiya District, south of Hilla, the center of Babylon Governorate, caused the death of a child and the injury of his mother and three brothers. Civil Defense Media Director Aqeel Abdullah said, "The fire broke out due to the explosion of a gas cylinder inside the house." He added: 'The civil defense teams were able to extinguish the fire and that the police opened an investigation into the incident,' noting: 'The wounded are in serious condition.
