Security forces in Maysan arrested a person accused of trafficking in narcotic substances. The Rapid Response Division Command said in a statement: 'A force from the Fourth Regiment, Fourth Brigade, affiliated with the command, was able to arrest a wanted in accordance with the provisions of Article 28 of drugs and in found in his possession an unlicensed weapon.' It added: 'This operation came in cooperation with the Directorate for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances in the governorate, and in coordination with the Rapid Response Intelligence Department, indicating that the wanted person and the seized items were handed over to the requested party.
