A drone targeted the American base in the Rmelan oil area in the countryside of Hasakah Governorate, eastern Syria. Western media reported that the sounds of anti-aircraft missiles heard were the result of attempts by US soldiers to confront an attack via a drone on one of the most important American bases in Syria, the 'Kharab al-Jir' village base at the Syrian -Iraqi-Turkish border triangle.
