Eighty trucks departed today from Kilis province in southern Turkey, loaded with humanitarian aid for the Gaza Strip. The trucks, carrying food aid and hygiene supplies, set off towards the port of Mersin province in Turkey on the Mediterranean Sea, and will continue their way from there via ships towards Egypt. In a speech during the farewell ceremony for the trucks, Yaqoub Al-Agha, an official at the Kilis Logistics Center of the Turkish Humanitarian Relief Foundation, expressed his thanks to those who contributed to all this aid. He expressed his hope that this aid would alleviate, even a little, the suffering of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Al-Agha indicated that the trucks will head to Mersin port, to continue their way towards Egypt via Turkish ships. Source: National Iraqi News Agency
