Baghdad , The head of the Arbaeen Committee of the Iranian Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, Kamal Hadianfar, announced that it was agreed in the talks with the Iraqi side to operate 3,000 round-trip flights between the two countries, equivalent to 700 weekly flights during the Arbaeen days. According to the official IRNA news agency, Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development Kamal Hadianfar addressed the necessary points in the meeting of the Arbaeen Committee of the ministry in order to provide the best services to the visitors of "Abu Abdullah al-Hussein (PBUH)" during the Arbaeen days. Hadianfar added: 80% of the flights will be to Najaf Airport and 20% to Baghdad Airport. Referring to the expected increase of 10-15% in the number of Arbaeen visitors compared to the previous year, the Iranian official said according to "IRNA", according to expectations, more than 4 million and 600 thousand citizens of the country will participate in Arbaeen visit this year, where the share of private cars in transporting visitors is 62%, and the share of the public transport fleet is 38%. He added: "It was decided to issue visas for 50 thousand Pakistani visitors traveling through the Mirjaveh and Ramdan borders, and the necessary arrangements have been made in this regard. It was also decided to supply the public land and air transport fleets of foreign countries that transport visitors to 'Abu Abdullah Al-Hussein (PBUH)' on the Arbaeen visit with fuel at the local price.'
