Amman: The progress report on the executive program of the Economic Modernization Vision (EMV) 2023-2025 for the third quarter of this year showed completion of the first phase of well drilling operations within Risha Phosphate Project. According to Jordan News Agency, the report issued by the Government Performance Follow-up Unit at the Prime Ministry revealed that 29 wells were dug, and 324 samples were taken from the target sites. The report also noted action to follow up on the implementation of memoranda of understanding with developers of exploration and prospecting projects for minerals with several companies in the Kingdom's various regions. For this purpose, the drilling projects focused on exploring gold and copper in Aqaba's Abu Khosheeba area, as well as rare elements, and phosphate project in Risha site.
