The Ministry of Interior announced, today, Wednesday, the arrest of two terrorists who carried out several terrorist attacks in Salah al-Din. The ministry said in a statement: "With field follow-up and intensified intelligence efforts, the Intelligence Agency detachments specialized in combating terrorism in Salah al-Din Governorate carried out a qualitative operation based on accurate intelligence information, which resulted in the arrest of two terrorists. Upon investigation, they explicitly confessed to belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs and working in the so-called (Diwan al-Jund, Al-Qadisiyah Division) and carried out several terrorist attacks on security forces in the governorate."
