Two Lebanese were killed on Monday in Israeli artillery shelling and airstrikes that caused heavy damage to homes and property in southern Lebanon, a Lebanese security source said. It said Israeli war jets launched raids on the towns of Aita al-Shaab and Hanin, and artillery shelled the towns of al-Tiri, Hanin, Ramieh, Aita al-Shaab and Kufr Shuba. UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator Imran Riza said during a tour in southern Lebanon "We focus on the fact that workers in the humanitarian sector are making efforts to serve the people, and we visit the areas affected by the war and meet with their residents."
