Gaza city: At least 17 civilians have been killed since the early hours of Tuesday morning due to ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. Among the victims were a mother and her six children, who lost their lives when their home was bombed in the west of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the administrations of Al-Awda and Al-Aqsa hospitals reported receiving seven deceased individuals, including a child, since this morning. Additionally, 10 people were injured after Israeli occupation forces targeted gatherings of civilians near an aid distribution point on Salah al-Din Street, located south of Wadi Gaza.
The bodies of three people were recovered from the vicinity of Palestine Stadium in the west of Gaza City. Israeli aircraft also bombed a tent for displaced persons in the town of Al-Zawayda, central Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, a source at Al-Shifa Medical Complex announced the death of a child in Gaza City due to malnutrition and lack of medical treatment. In the Netzarim axis, a young person was killed after being shot in the eye by a sniper, with his body subsequently transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has resulted in the deaths of 66,055 citizens, the majority of whom are women and children, and injuries to 168,346 others. Thousands of victims remain under rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and rescue crews face challenges in reaching them.
