Young Man Shot, Others Beaten During Israeli Forces Raid on Askar Camp in Nablus

Nablus: A young Palestinian man was shot and others were beaten on Monday during an Israeli military raid on the old Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, medical sources reported that an 18-year-old was shot in the thigh with live ammunition and transported to a hospital. In addition to the shooting, others were assaulted, including journalist Mahmoud Fawzi, who was also briefly detained.

Since early Monday, Israeli forces have been conducting raids on the camp. These operations involved systematically storming and searching multiple homes, tampering with their contents, and carrying out field investigations with residents following several hours of detention.
