RAMALLAH: A Palestinian young man was critically injured when Israeli forces opened fire on his vehicle near Ramallah on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred west of the city, near the villages of Deir Qaddis and Ni'lin.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the young man was driving a car that was fired upon by Israeli forces, resulting in severe injuries to the driver. The Israeli military stated that the driver was allegedly involved in a ramming attack that injured a female soldier, prompting the gunfire.
In the aftermath of the shooting, Israeli forces imposed strict security measures in the area. Several villages were sealed off with iron gates, and numerous military checkpoints were established, leading to significant disruptions for local residents. Movement in the area has been severely restricted, causing difficulties for those attempting to go about their daily activities.
