Gaza: World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warned that Israel's plan to occupy the entire Gaza Strip is "deeply worrying and puts more children at risk" due to malnutrition and lack of healthcare. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on his Twitter account last night that "Israel's plan to expand its military operations in Gaza is deeply worrying, given the already dire humanitarian and health situation across the Strip."
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the WHO Director-General emphasized that "further military escalation will put more children at risk due to malnutrition and lack of healthcare." He reiterated his call for "immediate, unrestricted, and widespread access to food and health assistance" to the besieged Strip.
