Post: WFP Scales Up Operations in Gaza as Ceasefire Passes 100 Days

Gaza: One hundred days into the ceasefire, the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) announced that it has significantly expanded its life-saving operations across the Gaza Strip, reaching more than one million people each month.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, WFP stated that while critical progress has been made in pushing back famine, the situation remains extremely fragile. The organization emphasized the importance of sustained access through all crossings and the flow of humanitarian and commercial goods. Additionally, WFP highlighted the need for the continuation of the ceasefire to prevent Gaza from sliding back into catastrophic hunger.
