Post: Water Supply to Ramallah Main Station Suspended Due to Pipeline Rupture

Gaza: The Jerusalem Water Undertaking announced on Sunday the suspension of water pumping to the main Ramallah station following a break in the main supply line.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the undertaking stated that the Israeli water company Mekorot had informed it of the temporary halt in pumping due to a rupture in the main pipeline feeding the station. The suspension is expected to affect most areas within the service jurisdiction, with a revised water distribution schedule in place until pumping can resume.

The Jerusalem Water Undertaking emphasized that the situation is beyond its control and urged public understanding and cooperation. Residents have been asked to rationalize water consumption to ensure water availability reaches as many citizens as possible.

The undertaking assured that crews would resume normal distribution once pumping is restored and pledged to provide updates to subscribers as developments occur.
