Ramallah: Palestinian Vice President Hussein al-Sheikh met on Wednesday with the Turkish Ambassador to Palestine, Ismail ‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬¡obanoglu, to discuss the latest political and international developments. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the situation in the Palestinian territories, particularly the ongoing siege and the worsening humanitarian conditions.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, they stressed the urgent need to lift the siege and deliver humanitarian aid to the besieged people of Gaza, and to put an end to the systematic settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank.
Al-Sheikh expressed his appreciation for Turkey's supportive role towards the Palestinian people and its efforts to alleviate their suffering. Ambassador ‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬¡obanoglu affirmed his country's unwavering support for the Palestinian cause.
