Ramallah: Vice President and Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Hussein al-Sheikh, received the Spanish consul to the State of Palestine, Ambassador Jos© Javier Guti©rrez, at his office in Ramallah. The meeting focused on discussing the latest developments affecting the region.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the discussions centered around the ongoing challenges faced by the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the increasing tensions due to Israeli measures and colonists' attacks in the West Bank. Both leaders reviewed the current local, regional, and international situations that have been impacting these areas.
During the meeting, Vice President Al-Sheikh conveyed his appreciation to Spain for its continued support and understanding towards the State of Palestine. The conversation underscored the importance of international cooperation in addressing the pressing issues faced by Palestinians.
