Bethlehem: A young Palestinian man was shot by Israeli occupation forces during confrontations that erupted Friday evening following a military raid on the town of Tuqu', southeast of Bethlehem.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Taysir Abu Mafreh, head of the Tuqu Municipal Council, stated that Israeli forces raided Tuqu, deployed in the town center, and fired live ammunition, tear gas, stun grenades, and flash grenades, sparking confrontations with the residents.
Abu Mufreh confirmed that a young man in his 20s was hit by live ammunition in the thigh and was taken to the town's clinic for treatment.
