Update: Two Killed, Others Injured in Israeli Bombing of Civilians South of Gaza

Gaza: Two citizens were killed and several others were injured on Monday after an Israeli drone bombed a group of citizens in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Nasser Medical Complex reported that the fatalities were a result of an Israeli drone strike targeting the group. This incident adds to the violence in the area, as Israeli forces also directed heavy machine gun fire toward the eastern areas of Khan Yunis.

In addition to the drone strike, Israeli gunboats launched shells toward the coast of Rafah, located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. The ongoing conflict has seen a substantial loss of life and injuries since a ceasefire was declared on October 11, 2023.

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip have announced that since October 7, 2023, the death toll from Israeli aggression has risen significantly, with a total of 68,519 deaths and 170,382 injuries reported. The aftermath of the recent ceasefire has resulted in 93 citizens killed, 324 others injured, and the recovery of 464 bodies.
