Post: UPDATE: Israeli Drone Kills Two Civilians, Injures Others in Southern Gaza Strip

Gaza: An Israeli strike on Monday evening killed two civilians and injured others in the al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, according to medical sources at the Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital. They reported that an Israeli combat drone struck a group of civilians at al-Nass Junction, claiming the lives of two civilians and injuring several others.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, they added that they had recovered the bodies of the slain civilians and transferred the casualties to the hospital for treatment. They noted that the total death toll in the Gaza Strip climbed to 73,058, mostly women and children, and the casualties to 173,488 since the onset of the genocidal aggression on the Strip on October 7, 2023.

They further added that in the last 24 hours, the bodies of four slain Palestinians and eight casualties were admitted to Gaza hospitals. Since the ceasefire agreement went into effect at noon on 10 October 2025, the occupation forces have killed 1,045 Palestinians and injured 3,380 others. The bodies of 786 Palestinians have been retrieved over the same period.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip. The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt - in what has become Palestine's largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
