According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Guterres highlighted, during his address at the annual meeting of the United Nations Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, which took place at the United Nations headquarters in New York, the crucial need to comply with international law.
