Gaza: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has expressed grave concerns about the humanitarian situation in Gaza, highlighting the severe impact of ongoing restrictions on aid delivery.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, UNRWA emphasized in a statement shared on X that it remains active on the ground, striving to provide essential services to displaced people. These services include healthcare, education, shelter, food assistance, and protection services, facilitated through the agency's extensive field presence and network.
UNRWA further noted that the current scale of humanitarian needs in Gaza significantly surpasses the quantity of aid allowed to enter. The agency reiterated its urgent call for lifting the restrictions hindering humanitarian aid access to address the critical needs of the population.
