Post: UNRWA Reports Critical Shortage of Humanitarian Supplies in Gaza

Gaza City: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has issued a warning stating that humanitarian supplies in the Gaza Strip are running critically low, with the situation worsening rapidly. The agency has called for an immediate end to the Israeli blockade to allow aid to enter the region.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, UNRWA highlighted that it has been over a month since Israel halted the entry of humanitarian and commercial supplies into Gaza. The agency stressed that while its teams are doing their best to provide assistance with the limited resources available, the depletion of stocks is making the situation increasingly severe.

UNRWA has urged for the lifting of the Israeli blockade to enable the resumption of humanitarian aid deliveries to the people of Gaza.
