Gaza: An average of 28 children a day have been killed in Gaza due to ongoing Israeli bombardment and starvation that has lasted more than 660 days.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, UNICEF highlighted the dire situation in a post on X, stating that the children in Gaza face death by bombardments, malnutrition, and a lack of vital services. The organization emphasized the urgent need for basic necessities like food, water, and medicine for Gaza's children, along with an immediate ceasefire to ensure their protection.
In their statement, UNICEF described the alarming rate of child fatalities, equating the daily loss to the size of a classroom. The organization called for global attention and action to address the humanitarian crisis that has persisted in the region for an extended period.
