Gaza: The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) warned of the increasing risk of disease outbreaks in overcrowded displacement camps in the Gaza Strip, stressing that the continued deterioration of living conditions is directly contributing to the worsening health crisis among the population. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, OCHA stated that humanitarian partners have observed the spread of skin diseases among residents in hundreds of camps. There is also a widespread infestation of rodents and pests, which further complicates the health situation and threatens the spread of additional diseases. The statement indicated that humanitarian agencies are making efforts to combat pests and improve health conditions within the camps. However, they face significant challenges, most notably limited supplies and restricted access to affected areas.
