Gaza: The UN Special Rapporteur on the right to adequate housing, Balakrishnan Rajagopal, has criticized the way humanitarian aid is distributed in Gaza, describing it as “sadistic.”
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, in a post on the X platform on Wednesday, Rajagopal expressed his concerns by stating: “I am speechless about the sadistic delivery of aid to Gaza. If this is true, it is a US-Israeli crime: the use of humanitarian aid for humiliation, murder, and torture.”
The situation has been exacerbated by the deliberate starvation of people and paving the way for forced displacement. The United Nations has reported that Israel has driven 2.4 million people to starvation by closing the Gaza Strip crossings since March 2, blocking humanitarian aid, particularly food.
