UN Security Council to Hold Session on Middle East and Palestinian Cause

Gaza: The UN Security Council is set to hold its regular monthly open session on Wednesday to discuss the situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian issue. Members are scheduled to begin the session with a briefing from Ramiz Alakbarov, the UN Deputy Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, followed by closed consultations.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israel's expansion of its military aggression in Gaza is expected to be a primary focus of the session.
