Accra:United Nations The United Nations Security Council is set to convene its quarterly open debate on the Middle East situation, with a focus on the Palestinian question, this Thursday.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the debate will be held at the request of the State of Palestine. It aims to prompt immediate action and practical measures to provide international protection for the Palestinian people amidst escalating attacks by Israeli forces and settlers. These attacks are affecting Palestinian cities, villages, and refugee camps.
The ongoing violence is endangering the lives, security, and property of Palestinians, contributing to further deterioration and instability in the region.
