Gaza City: The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) called for an end to the food blockade on the Gaza Strip, which has been ongoing for nine weeks, especially as the lives of 9 million people in the Gaza Strip are at stake. The UN office confirmed on its official website that its stocks are running low as the comprehensive Israeli blockade on Gaza enters its third month.
According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) stated that more than nine weeks have passed since the blockade of Gaza began, during which Israel has prevented the entry of all humanitarian, medical, and commercial aid.
The UN report further stated that the destruction of agricultural lands resulted from bombing and bulldozing operations as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023.
Since March 2, the Israeli occupation has been preventing the entry of all relief, food, and medical aid into the Gaza Strip, on which residents depend entirely for their survival.
