Ramallah: Two Palestinian youths were injured by live gunfire, and a child was detained on Thursday evening as Israeli forces raided the village of Kobar, northwest of Ramallah.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Palestinian security sources reported that Israeli forces stormed the village, firing stun grenades and tear gas, which led to confrontations with residents. During these clashes, Israeli soldiers used live ammunition, injuring two young men in their lower limbs.
The sources further confirmed that during the raid, Israeli forces detained 13-year-old Kinan Bassam Nabhan Barghouthi.
In a related development, Israeli forces also entered the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah, coinciding with the return of former detainee Mo'men Mahmoud Hamed, who was released as part of a prisoner exchange deal under the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
