Gaza city: Medical teams recovered the bodies of two Palestinians on Sunday from the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the bodies were found on Kashko Street in Al-Zeitoun, where they were targeted by Israeli shelling overnight.
The Al-Zeitoun neighborhood experienced intense artillery shelling on Saturday following threats of evacuation by Israeli forces, prompting dozens of families to flee the area. This incident is part of ongoing tensions, despite a ceasefire agreement that began on October 11 last year.
Since the start of this ceasefire, 1,144 Palestinians have been killed and more than 3,700 injured in continued Israeli attacks, while medical teams have recovered the bodies of 802 victims.
