Two Palestinians Injured in Israeli Colonists’ Attack on Masafer Yatta in Hebron

Hebron: Two Palestinians were injured on Monday evening in an attack by Israeli colonists on the village of Umm al-Khair in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, according to a local activist.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, anti-colonial settlements activist Osama Makhamreh reported that colonists attacked residents while they were on their lands and near their homes. The attack involved live gunfire, injuring one man who was subsequently taken to an unknown location by Israeli occupation forces.

Another resident suffered injuries after being beaten by a colonist and was transported to Yatta Governmental Hospital by Palestine Red Crescent ambulance crews.

Makhamreh condemned the actions of the colonists, which were carried out under the protection of Israeli occupation forces. He stated that these attacks aim to seize Palestinian lands and expand illegal colonies in the villages and hamlets of southern Hebron.
