Two Palestinians Injured in Colonists’ Attack, Seven Others Detained Near Hebron

Hebron: Two Palestinians were injured and seven others were detained on Wednesday in an attack by colonists in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern West Bank.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, anti-settlement activist Osama Makhameh reported that Ahmad Ali al-Adra and Habib Ismail al-Adra sustained bruises and contusions after being severely beaten by armed colonists under the protection of Israeli soldiers in the villages of Rujoum Ali and Khallat Amira in Masafer Yatta. The attack followed the colonists' release of their livestock onto Palestinian-owned land in the two villages.

The injured individuals were transported to Yatta Governmental Hospital for necessary medical treatment.

The occupation forces also fired sound bombs and toxic gas at citizens in Khirbet Khalla Amira, detaining several individuals for two hours. They arrested Salah Muhammad Al-Adra, Sami Muhammad Al-Adra, Jaafar Ali Al-Adra, Mahmoud Ibrahim Al-Adra, and the brothers Youssef, Muhammad, and Saber Ismail Al-Adra.
