Ankara: The Turkish Foreign Ministry has condemned Israel’s recent decision to expand its occupation of the Gaza Strip, labeling it as a “manifestation of the same expansionist and destructive mentality.”
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the ministry released a statement last night urging Israel to cease its “irresponsible actions aimed at dragging the entire region into a comprehensive conflict.” The statement emphasized the need for the international community to take a firm stance against what it termed as Israel’s reckless aggression, which is deemed crucial for maintaining regional and international peace.
The statement concluded by affirming Turkey’s ongoing efforts to promote peace and stability in the Middle East, expressing solidarity with both regional countries and the international community in these endeavors.
