Tulkarm: A young Palestinian man was injured on Sunday after Israeli forces opened fire on a vehicle he was traveling in in the area between the suburb of Dhnaba and the Al-Salam neighborhood, east of Tulkarm.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli forces fired at the vehicle, wounding the young man with a bullet to the hand. Ambulance crews arrived at the scene and transferred him to a hospital for medical treatment.
The sources added that the area witnessed a heavy deployment of Israeli forces following the incident. Several young men were detained and subjected to field questioning, although no arrests were reported.
