Gaza City: Trkiye condemned Tuesday Israel's latest attacks on Gaza, stating that the mass killing of Palestinians marks a new phase in what it described as the Netanyahu government's "genocide policy."
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Turkish Foreign Ministry declared in an official statement that Israel is defying humanity through its violations of international law and universal values. The statement emphasized that these actions represent one of the gravest violations, highlighting the seriousness of the situation.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry further warned that Israel's aggressive actions threaten regional stability at a time when international efforts for peace are intensifying. The ministry noted that the aggression displayed by the Israeli government threatens the future of the region and that it is unacceptable for Israel to cause a new spiral of violence.
Ankara has called on the international community to take a firm stance against Israel, urging immediate action for a lasting ceasefire and the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza. Reaffirming its position, the ministry also stressed Trkiye's unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and commitment to regional peace initiatives.
