Gaza City: Three Palestinians were killed and several others injured following an Israeli airstrike in the southeastern part of Gaza City.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the victims were targeted near the Dawla Junction in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, an area located in the southeastern outskirts of the city. The casualties were subsequently transported to the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has resulted in at least 54,880 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 126,227 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's attacks continue despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
