Gaza: Three Palestinians, including a young man and woman, were killed on Sunday morning due to Israeli gunfire and shelling in the central and southern Gaza Strip. This incident marks ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement, raising the day's death toll to three.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, medical sources confirmed that 20-year-old Nassim Abu Al-Ajeen succumbed to fatal gunshot wounds inflicted by Israeli military vehicles in the Abu Al-Ajeen area, east of Deir al-Balah. The tragic events continued with the death of young woman Dalia Khaled Asfour, who succumbed to injuries sustained from Israeli shelling of her family home on Al-Dakhiliya Street in central Rafah. The attack previously claimed the lives of her four children.
Earlier on Sunday, another Palestinian was killed, with a second suffering serious injuries due to Israeli artillery shelling in Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip. These latest fatalities bring the total number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, to 579, with 1,544 injured and 717 bodies recovered.
