Gaza: Three Palestinian citizens were killed and others were wounded on Tuesday due to Israeli shelling and gunfire in the towns of Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahia, situated in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, two people lost their lives and others sustained injuries following Israeli shelling in Beit Hanoun. Another civilian was killed by Israeli gunfire in the Al-Atatra area, located northwest of Beit Lahia.
WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli artillery increased its shelling activities in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, which is to the east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources indicated that a total of 11 citizens have been killed in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since the early hours of the day, marking a significant escalation in the region.
