Three Palestinians Injured in Settler Attack East of Tulkarm

Tulkarm: Three Palestinians from the town of Ramin, east of Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank, were injured on Thursday after being assaulted by Israeli colonists in the area, according to local sources.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, a group of colonists attacked sheep herders in the al-Sahl area east of the town using sticks and beat them. This led to confrontations with residents who attempted to repel the attack.

The sources added that Israeli forces later stormed the area and detained a number of local Palestinians during the confrontation with the colonists. The Palestine Red Crescent Society reported that its crews treated three people who sustained injuries after being beaten by colonists in Ramin.

Israeli forces also detained Saqr Nedal Salman, a local Palestinian citizen, after he was injured. Soldiers fired live ammunition toward those who rushed to the area along with ambulance crews to evacuate the wounded.
