Three Palestinians Injured in Colonists’ Attack on Hebron’s Masafer Yatta

Hebron: Two Palestinians and a foreign solidarity activist were injured on Tuesday in a colonists' attack on Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, activist Osama Makhameh reported that colonists from the Ma'on settlement, which is constructed on Palestinian land south of Hebron, assaulted the family of Ahmad Barghash al-Shawahin in the Wadi al-Jawaya area while they were grazing their sheep. In addition to attacking the al-Shawahin family, the colonists also targeted two foreign solidarity activists. The attack resulted in injuries to brothers Hamza and Saddam al-Shawahin, as well as a foreign activist.

Osama Makhameh further stated that paramedics from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society attended to the injured, providing first aid and transporting them to Yatta Governmental Hospital for further treatment. The assault did not end with physical injuries; the colonists reportedly broke and stole the mobile phones belonging to Hamza al-Shawahin, the injured foreign activist, and another activist present at the scene.
